Schools & Colleges

There are many applications and uses for my courses in Schools & Colleges. See below for more ideas.

  • Catch up and revision. The perfect solution for students who have missed lessons or want to see them again.

  • A solution to staff absence. Learning can continue as usual, even if a subject specialist is not available for cover.

  • Differentiation. Students can work at their own pace in groups or individually whilst the teacher helps those who need it.

Free pilot opportunity

Would your school or college be interested in taking part in a free pilot for a year?

I'm looking to work with schools and colleges that would like to trial my material in return for feedback. Email me at [email protected] to discuss ways in which I can help with class cover, differentiation and catch up.

Susie Reid

After studying Maths and graduating from Glasgow Uni in 2000 (and a few years as a Corporate Banker, which we will say no more about), I trained to be a Maths Teacher in 2003 and have been teaching Maths ever since. I worked in Secondary schools until 2017 when I moved into teaching in Further Education. I love to bring my subject alive and help others understand and enjoy what I secretly (or not so secretly now) think is the best subject. When lockdown hit and I moved to teaching online, I had to relearn all the tools of my trade and create a flexible and accessible online teaching environment. I keep my videos precise and relevant so they are engaging and easy to watch and learn from. I have been creating Maths content for this website in my spare time but during the day I teach Maths at City of Glasgow College to Nautical Cadets. I have written bespoke Maritime Maths units and materials and HMIE recently cited my video content as a highlight of their visit. I am also an Access Maths tutor at Glasgow University and an SQA External Verifier. West Online Schools in Partnership with councils in Scotland have purchased my Level 3 and 4 material and this is now available to all Scottish school students via their GLOW account.
